Indian batsman Rishabh Pant was involved in a serious car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway while the cricketer was on his way to his hometown of Roorkee on 30 December. When Pant's luxury car caught fire, he managed to escape, smashing the car's windshield. . . As the entire cricket spectrum and fans prayed for Pant's speedy recovery, fellow Indian wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan learned of Pant's injury during a fans match.
